Our Environmental and Community Planning Services Department integrates Hanover 's scientific and technical departments with our planning services to provide comprehensive environmental impact analysis and documentation for all resource topic areas. Depending on the nature and complexity of a project, our planners, geologists, and environmental scientists join together to provide an interdisciplinary approach to environmental analysis and community planning. Therefore, clients receive project management support and guidance in all resource topic areas.
CEQA Compliance
Hanover Enviornmental Services, Inc. provides California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) impact analysis, technical support and project management services for landowners, developers, engineers, environmental firms, cities, counties and other lead agencies. For landowners, developers and engineers, Hanover prepares preliminary environmental site analyses to assist in determining potential impacts associated with a project and provides recommendations for project design modifications to reduce impacts. For environmental firms, Hanover provides impact analysis and technical support for a variety of resource topic areas including land use, geology and soils, hydrology and water quality, public services and utilities, recreation facilities and visual resources. For lead agencies, Hanover, Inc. prepares CEQA initial studies, mitigated negative declarations and environmental impact reports as well as joint CEQA/NEPA environmental assessments and environmental impact statements when applicable. CEQA project experience ranges from small subdivisions and infrastructure improvements to planned developments and community plan projects.

Hanover Environmental Services, Inc. provides land management and environmental planning consulting services to public agencies, landowners, and land developers. At Hanover Environmental Services, Inc., clients are able to draw from the technical expertise of our environmental planners, CEQA experts, regulatory compliance specialists, geologists, hydrologists, water quality analysts and hazardous materials specialists to resolve environmental challenges that sometimes occur during the land use and environmental planning process. Our staff specializes in determining the environmental opportunities and constraints of a project site or community and assists planning departments, local agencies, landscape architects, engineers, landowners, and developers with identifying project alternatives that meet project goals.
